Don’t miss this immersive walk-through that will take you back in time to a world of prehistoric wonder!
Visitors will get to come face-to-face with nearly 60 life-size animatronic and interactive dinosaurs, enjoy dinosaur rides, dinosaur-themed selfie stations, meet and greets with baby dinosaurs, and hands-on fossil dig stations.

Dinosaurs Among Us Sensory-Friendly Mornings is designed for those with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and sensory processing differences and their families from 8-9 am.

On the second Saturday of each month May-August, families can journey back in time and enjoy an evening at the Zoo from 5-9 pm.
Where: Roger Williams Park Zoo
Hours: Shows will be held daily in Nourish Plaza at 11 am and 2 pm (weather permitting) now through September 4.
Families will get an up-close look at falcons, macaws, cranes, owls, and more as they fly, call and mimic their interpreter —along with some surprise encounters that make this a do n’t-miss treat!

What a great plan to end your week!
Families will get to enjoy some of the best local food trucks throughout the entire summer! Attendance is free, just pay for what you eat and drink from an ever-changing rotation of more than 15 food trucks each week. Enjoy live music, local beer, and wine from Trinity Brewhouse, explore Hasbro’s Boundless Playground, or take a carousel ride or hop on the train (additional cost).

During each day of these summer camps, kids will create, from scratch, their own savory dessert dishes!
Hand-made pasta, pierogies, calzones, cakes, donuts, and cookies, just to name a few. Kids gather at the dining room table for a sit-down lunch before they go home.

During Conservation Heroes, campers ages 11-14 will be empowered to become leaders in conservation through teambuilding and leadership activities; engage in inquiry activities, games, and projects; visit animal exhibits, meet animal ambassadors, and explore the outdoors.

Tadpole Academy is an introduction to ZooCamp.
Kids ages 4-5 will enjoy stories, crafts, games, encounters with wild animal ambassadors, and zoo exploration in safe, small groups.

During this summer camp, kids will learn how to draw, paint and sculpt animals using shapes with patterns.
They will learn about geography as they travel the world to learn about their various habitats! Campers will explore animals in the wild using paint, clay, and mixed media.

In this tasty camp, kids ages 4-8 will put their culinary creativity to the test as they whip up mouthwatering treats both savory and sweet. Campers will enjoy chocolate recipes from A to Z!
Taste Buds Kitchen’s kids’ cooking camps are the perfect recipe for gaining kitchen confidence, learning essential cooking skills, and making new friends.

ZooCamp is perfect for budding scientists, zoologists, explorers, artists, and kids that just love animals!
Days are filled with crafts, hands-on and inquiry-driven activities, encounters with wild animal ambassadors, and guided Zoo tours.

In this full-day camp, artists ages 7-12 years old will have a fun-packed week creating drawings, paintings, and sculptures as they explore a variety of media such as clay, acrylic and watercolor paints, graphite, chalk pastels and oil pastels, recyclable materials, and much more!

During these half-day camps for kids ages 7-12, kids will explore the world of Africa through theatre and art by learning the process of designing costumes, sets, and props which will be used in a final short performance at the end of the theatrical art camp week!

During this camp, kids ages 7-12 will learn about how different animals from around the world are represented through various forms of art!
Campers will create paper mache animal masks, aboriginal dot turtle paintings, ceramic turtle pots, as well as a ceramic elephant sculpture!

Sugar Land Holiday Lights is a sparkling wonderland that features more than 3 million lights, a carnival, Santa Claus (until 12/23), a brand new 40 ft. light-up tree, and numerous themed displays!
You can also get holiday shopping done with a number of holiday vendors all while enjoying great food and a dazzling light show!

Kids will get creative with designs and decorations to make beautiful and tasty sweet treats.
From drizzles to piping, sprinkles to fondant, this camp focuses on all things decorating and designs. Kids will bake up rainbow donuts, decorate sugar cookies with homemade royal icing, make fondant from scratch, create a custom mini birthday cake, and more!

During this summer camp, kids in 5 – 8 grades will enjoy a week filled with hiking, team-building activities, nature discovery, crafts, beach activities, and a Wednesday evening campfire.

Kids will learn how to use the pottery wheel or brush up on skills from a previous class or camp in this multi-level wheel throwing for kids!
Students will make cups, bowls, and plates and learn basic glazing techniques to decorate their functional creations.

Kids will create a color fabric theme board, and design and draw their collection of clothing with a variety of art media such as graphite, watercolors, and mixed media!

Start your morning by dining on an alfresco hot breakfast in the heart of the zoo’s Africa region.
Then make your way behind the scenes to meet the keepers that keep many of the animals happy and healthy. There you will go “on exhibit” as you join zookeepers in staging a mixed-species yard for Zebras, Wildebeest, and Watusi Cattle!

Kids will explore a variety of baking techniques from creating the perfect pie crust to drizzling a freshly made glaze.
