Inspiring Minds is dedicated to helping students succeed in school and life. They connect students with community volunteers who understand the students’ cultural, academic, and emotional needs. Their programs are designed to improve both academic skills and social-emotional well-being.
The programs they offer include:
TUTORING + MENTORING: This involves volunteers working one-on-one or in small groups with PreK-8 students who need extra help, as identified by their teachers.
EXPLORERS PROGRAM: This is a paid internship for young adults aged 16-24 from various linguistic and ethnic backgrounds, helping them gain experience towards becoming teachers in Providence.
KIDSBRIDGE: A free six-week summer program for kids about to start kindergarten without much preschool experience, focusing on getting them ready for school.
RESILIENTKIDSâ„¢: This program teaches both kids and adults how to handle stress, overcome challenges, be compassionate, and thrive despite adversity.
