The Museum of Natural History is Rhode Island’s only natural history museum and is home to the state’s only public planetarium! Families will find a unique educational, scientific, and cultural resource by offering exciting exhibits and programming that provide ways for children and families to learn about our world and its people.
The Museum of Natural History is located in Roger Williams Park, and the Planetarium is located in the Museum. When visiting the Planetarium, families will find a dome theater with a Zeiss projector that casts images of stars, planets, and constellations to simulate the night sky.
